High Point Market Day One

After a very late night last evevning,we dressed and left early for our first day. Already a bit tired from sorting, organizing and reviewing design client's needs and requests, we started out packed to the gills with memos, lists and measurements. And there is always lots of needs for the store as well.

Here are some of the inspiring things we saw today...

Look at this ottoman with blocked fabrics in two colors!

You know I love these...what's not to love about orange leather chairs?

I love putting these small square tufted ottomans together to make a larger square. Two different shades makes it even more interesting.

Colorful room setting with a neutral backdrop...

Ever so chic tufted back salon sofa!

Once again, a favorite combination of colors...

Love the winter themed branches in front of a segmented mirrored wall.

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad.

melon colored barrel chairs...mid century throwback. The mid century theme was still at the forefront of most showrooms. Classic style.

One of our favorite furniture vendors partnered up with one of our favorite art suppliers...so cute!

And what do you think? I just designed an entire floor for the Beach family on Avalon in this pallet! Great confirmation of color and current style. It's going to be great!

I ordered a pair of these great and comfy chairs for the store...velvet + chevron=pure style. Oh. My.

Tis classic mid century profile was showing up several places and these in white ostrich took my vote. Very comfortable too...

We returned to our home away from home to upload photos, check messages and review the orders from today, putting order back into our rolling files. Additional lists were made, a bite of home made pumpkin cake later, we are ready for a quick nights sleep and off for another day of design inspiration.

Day 1 under our belts...day 2 here we come.

It's all about style and its around every corner in High Point, North Carolina.
